On 11 November 2016, the AusViet Management Committee made their way to Kon Tum via Pleiku Airport followed by a treacherous 2 hour drive on rocky, unpaved roads to discuss and plan with local government representatives regarding next year’s field trip.

Later in the afternoon, the committee met with Fr. Chung from the local Catholic community who has had a lot of involvement with the Vietnamese minority group of the village for further discussions. It was a hard day’s work but all the AVCF members had fun exploring the town and meeting the locals!
