The AusViet Charity Foundation (AVCF) proudly reflects on an unforgettable evening of unity, generosity, and purpose at the recent AVCF Queensland Gala Dinner. We were honoured to welcome Dr Nguyen, Chairperson of AVCF, whose presence highlighted the strength and reach of our shared mission.

Led by the dedicated efforts of Dr Tuan Ho and Dr Loc To, the Gala Dinner was a heartfelt celebration of culture, community, and compassion. Through the remarkable support of our guests and sponsors, we were able to raise $100,000 in under four hours — a testament to the power of collective goodwill.

These vital funds will directly support our clean water initiative in Bình Thuận Province, Vietnam, delivering safe water and essential resources to approximately 300 families. Construction of the first 150 home water systems is already underway, with the remainder to follow shortly.

Every act of kindness on the night created a ripple effect — a reminder that when communities come together, compassion can transcend borders and transform lives. As the Vietnamese saying goes, “Goodness will always bear fruit.”
